The Closer to Memling website is the result of an initiative by Musea Brugge. The project would, however, not have been possible without a number of key partners. Musea Brugge is grateful to the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) for the shooting and editing of the beautiful images. The stitching of the images is thanks to VUB spinoff Universum Digitalis BV.

For the research, Musea Brugge can count on expertise and advice from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Queen's University, University of Antwerp, UCLouvain, the Flemish Art Collection and Van Gogh Worldwide. Musea Brugge collaborated with Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, Meemoo and Visit Bruges to make the research publicly available.
